Bunzl Latam (“Bunzl”) wishes to maintain a relationship of trust and transparency with all those with whom it interacts. We appreciate the trust you show in us when you share your Personal Data with us, and we take the security of your information seriously. To honor this commitment, we have prepared this Privacy Policy Notice (or simply “Notice”) that contains information on how we process your personal data: what data we process, for what reason(s), and with whom we share it. In addition, you will find in this Notice what your rights are regarding this information and how to exercise them with Bunzl. It is important that you periodically review this information, since this Privacy Policy Notice may be subject to change. 1. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE READING THIS NOTICE?

Personal Data is any information that allows you to be directly identified or that has the potential to make you identifiable. For example, your name, CPF, email, profession, among others.

The person in charge is the person on our team responsible for taking care of your privacy here at Bunzl. If you have any questions about how your data is handled by us, he or she will be the one to help you.

Personal Data Processing means any operation, such as collection, use, access, reproduction, sharing, storage, deletion, performed with Personal Data.

Whenever the terms “Bunzl”, “we” or “our” are mentioned, we are referring to Bunzl; likewise, whenever the terms “you”, “your” or “yours” are mentioned, we are referring to you, the Data Subject.

2. WHO ARE WE?

For the purposes of the General Data Protection Law (“LGPD”), Bunzl is the Controller of Personal Data for the activities and data set out in this Notice. This means that Bunzl determines what data is collected, how the data will be used and for what purposes.

3. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE?

Below, we present the main Personal Data that we process about you and the reasons for this.

  • Talent Acquisition

In addition to advertising our vacancies on specialized websites, we also receive CVs from our employees, as well as CVs that may be left in person at our headquarters. In these situations, we will process your Personal Data to verify your skills, CV and compliance with the specific requirements of the vacancy for which you applied. In addition, we will also process your Personal Data to send you the offer letter, in cases where we would like you to become an employee of Bunzl.

For these activities, the following Personal Data may be processed: Full Name, ID, CPF, Nationality, Address, Zip Code, City, E-mail, Telephone, Cell Phone, Education, School/Academic Record, Languages, Qualifications and Certifications, Marital Status, Date of Birth, Age, Position, Company/Entity/Organization, Salary Expectation, Remuneration, Date of Hire, Professional Address, Working Hours and Photo.

  • Commercial Relations – Customers

We process your Personal Data, as a customer, so that we can facilitate the commercial relationship originated by the contract signed with you, your company, or the company you represent.

To this end, we may collect and process the following data: Signature, Full Name, ID, CPF, Driver’s License, Address, Zip Code, City, State, Country, Previous Address, E-mail, Telephone, Cell Phone, Messaging Application User, School/Academic Record, Qualifications and Certifications, Name of Parents/Guardians, Date of Birth, Credit History, Bank Details (Bank, Branch and Account Number), Credit Card Details, Income Tax Return, Bank Statement, Remuneration, Payment History, Credit Score, Age, Professional E-mail, Company/Entity/Organization, Professional Address, Professional Identification, Profession, Consumption Habits, Complaints History. This data is used for the following purposes:

  • Process returns/exchanges and investigate complaints about products and services;
  • Create a registry in our systems with your information, facilitating and streamlining our relationship;
  • Make refunds or chargebacks for advance payment and purchases not made, for refunds for returned material, or for problems with the sale made;
  • Identify and deliver the goods purchased, keeping you informed of the delivery status;
  • Perform credit analysis to ensure receipt of installment sales for the purpose of credit protection;
  • Keep your registration data updated in our systems;
  • Execute the contract you signed with us;
    Maintain contact with you, providing support and offering our services according to your usage history;
  • Collect any outstanding (overdue) and unpaid amounts; and
  • Verify the existence and regularity of the client company, in order to proceed with the sale of the desired products.
  • Commercial Relations – Suppliers, Service Providers and Partners

We may process your Personal Data so that we can facilitate the commercial relationship originated by the contract signed with you, your company, or the company you represent.

To do so, we may collect the following data: Signature, CNPJ, Full Name, ID, CPF, Driver’s License, Nationality, Filiation, Date of Birth, Age, Address, State, Country, E-mail, Telephone, Cell Phone, User in Messaging Application, Position, Company/Entity/Organization, Professional Address, Professional E-mail, Training Data, Professional Expenses, Bank Data (Bank, Branch and Account Number), Bank Statement, Credit History, Vehicle Data, Traffic Ticket History, and Social Network Profile. This data is used for the following purposes:Conduct a thorough assessment of our partners and suppliers;
Sign contracts and execute them in their entirety, as well as other contractual addendums, such as NDAs, assignment terms, additional terms and termination terms;
Prospect, renew or subrogate partner contracts;
Register partners in our management systems and their main points of contact;
Make payment for services taken and products acquired;
Monitor the service contracted/provided during the current contract, including by preparing meeting minutes for subsequent follow-up and performance monitoring;
Manage current signed contracts;
Maintain an active contact channel with suppliers, service providers and partners, including for the purpose of inviting them to Bunzl events and incentive campaigns; and
Allow internal audits.

  • Legal or Regulatory Obligations

In some situations, we are required to process some of your Personal Data to ensure compliance with the legislation, such as, for example, to:

  • Ensure the traceability of the medical product used in your services before the regulatory agency: Full Name, Driver’s License, ID, CNPJ, CPF, Nationality, Email, Cell Phone, User in Messaging Application, Professional Email and Health Data of the Product to be used;
  • Issuing Invoices/Electronic Invoices: Full name, Company Name, CPF, CNPJ, address and telephone contact.
  • Internal Procedures

In order to carry out our regular activities, such as financial and accounting activities, marketing, sales prospecting and similar, we need to process some of your Personal Data, such as: Full Name, Signature, CNPJ, ID, CPF, Internal Registration Number, Nationality, Address, Zip Code, City, State, Country, Email, Telephone, Cell Phone, Date of Birth, Age, Position, Company/Entity/Organization, Professional Email, Professional Address, Function, Social Network Profile, Vehicle Data, Education, Qualifications and Certifications, Professional Experience, School/Academic History, Consumption Habits, Purchasing Trends, Browsing Characteristics, Cookie Data, Browsing History, Complaint History, Entertainment Preferences, Geolocation, Geolocation History, Credit History, Credit Score, Banking Data (Bank, Branch and Account Number), Credit Card Data, Payment History and Photos.

This data is used to:

  • Build and maintain a historical purchase database;
  • Keep records of accounts and other commercial and payment transactions;
  • Analyze purchase categories to assess the composition of our purchasing activities;
  • Prepare internal reports and analyses, as necessary;
  • Generate analytical and statistical data to monitor and improve the performance of our website;
  • Ensure the security of the operation of our website and internal systems;
  • Respond to questions and queries from the Board of Directors;
  • Generate leads and prospecting opportunities;
  • Send mailings with information about our events and actions, and register for them;
  • File or receive, register and manage legal proceedings;
  • Respond to internal legal queries from Bunzl’s areas.
  • Regular exercise of rights

We may also process some of your personal data when this is necessary to protect our rights.

4. WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We may share your Personal Data when necessary to achieve the purpose for which the data was collected or when there is an obligation to share it. This transfer may occur between companies in the same economic group, with consultancies, external legal offices, companies that supply and support Bunzl systems, public agencies (such as the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service), the Judiciary, business partners, transportation companies, suppliers, payment institutions and financial institutions.

To protect your privacy, we use contractual instruments to ensure that third parties who receive your Personal Data on our behalf grant them the same protection as we do.

Occasionally, because we are a global organization, it is possible that your Personal Data may be transferred outside of Brazil, so that companies in our group in other countries can help us conduct our business, or to suppliers and business partners located abroad.

In these cases, we will ensure that this transfer occurs only to countries that have a similar level of security to that provided for by Brazilian law, or when the National Data Protection Authority so authorizes.

You can obtain more information about the third parties with whom we share your data by means of a specific request, as detailed in item 6. below.

5. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?
